The Experiential Workshop Series is a community empowerment program designed to inspire individuals to discover their personal value to heal and enrich their lives. Further, it seeks to empower them to share and transfer that healing to their larger communities.
The Program is being offered at no cost by the Skitch Henderson Cultural Center of Excellence (SHCCE) at The Silo thanks to the generosity and unconditional support of the Health Care Advocates International and all the professionals that are volunteering their time and expertise. This initiative also supports the achievement of the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
This Program is directed towards those who have been affected by stigma, shame, discrimination, and/or lack of hope, and who are looking for ways to better their lives.
With a shared belief in the value of learning through experience or “Experiential Learning”, the program’s workshops utilize meaningful conversations, collaborative communication, mindset and coaching exercises and other experiential learning techniques in the effort to inspire individuals to regain and maintain a sense of well-being.
The creators and facilitators of the program share a sense that while basic survival is instinctual, thriving beyond survival involves a skillset which must be awakened and learned. At the same time, it recognizes that, because of circumstances or events, it may be necessary to re-awaken and re-learn these skills periodically. The important point is that it is possible to do this, thanks to the neuroplasticity of the brain. The skillset may be utilized by an individual to transition from survivor to thriver mode while developing and maintaining a sense of well-being.
Please take advantage of this awesome opportunity to register at no cost and feel free to share with your friends the access to some of the tools that can help us get “unstuck” to achieve the life of our dreams.
