Get Involved

Hunt Hill Farm uses its land/gardens and the kitchen as classrooms to teach students about food — where it comes from, how it grows, how it’s prepared, and how it affects their health and their environment.

As a nonprofit, the Hunt Hill Farm relies on volunteers to actively participate in the many activities and events in order to support land use, arts and food. Please feel free to contact us at either info@hunthillfarm.org or call 860-355-0300. We look forward to you becoming a part of our special community!

COOKING SCHOOL
VOLUNTEER
OPPORTUNITIES

Hunt Hill Farm is host to fabulous cooking classes and private events year round and we are looking for volunteers! Volunteer once, twice…or on a regular basis and become a part of the culinary community in Connecticut. In exchange for assisting us during a class, you will be an active part of the class – learning recipes and tips of the trade – and get to sample each menu!

For each class you volunteer for, you will receive points which can be used to attend free classes of your choice as our guest… Volunteering for five regular classes equals one free class!

Cooking school volunteer opportunities are designed for adults 18 years of age or older.

For more information, please speak with Deborah Miller at 860-355-0300 (or email Deborah at millerd@thesiloct.org.

Hope to See You in the Kitchen!
