The Hunt Hill Farm lets you discover amazing food experiences, workshops and events. We are located in Litchfield County with an abundance of local foods, organic produce that provide our chefs “raw materials” to provide an array of culinary creations. Our gardens grow vegetables that offer endless colors, textures and tastes. We offer everything from food tours, cooking classes, cheese making, private dinner parties, and much more.
The Kitchen is located on campus in a renovated, circa-1800’s horse barn. As the first recreational cooking “school” in Connecticut during the 1970’s, its reputation as a learning center has captivated visitors from around the world. Over the years, the well renowned Kitchen hosted culinary masters of the ages including Martha Stewart, Jacques Pepin, Rachel Ray, among others.
Hunt Hill Farm is striving to provide unique food experiences from regional cuisines to the plow to table connection of food. We offer many workshops and classes that link food to health and wellness, and disease prevention while also showing the fun in learning whether a child, adult or family. We look forward to expanding the food experiences to include canning, craft beer making and other programs to support local food. It is a goal of Hunt Hill to be able to offer experiences every day of the year!
