After the cooking class, we’ll continue our celebration of the Chinese New Year by tasting unique teas from the top tea producing Asian countries guided by a local tea expert.
(Tea tasting is a great treat and an experience unlike any other. An experienced tea expert will show you the process of properly brewing and tasting loose tea. Open to the public.)

In the Tea Talk learn the basics, such as what tea is, where tea is grown and produced, how tea becomes white, green, oolong, black and pu’erh, the difference between tea and tisane, and health benefits. We encourage you to toss that teabag and discover the ease of brewing loose-leaf tea. We’ll cover selecting proper temperature and steeping times, to achieve a flavorful cup of tea.
